Like my other art, I consider my beaded creations to be expressions of emotional experience, and also a celebration of the beauty and energy of the stones. They are also a way for me to combine two obsessions—beads and rocks! The inspiration for these pieces almost always begins with a particular combination of colored beads or an unusually pretty stone.  The shape and structure of the piece follow. I particularly enjoy the sculptural feel of the bead embroidery pieces. They look almost as good on the wall as they do around the neck!
